Charity Fundraiser to Help Support Families with Childhood Cancer

Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer Charity Paint and Sip Fundraiser. Your donation in purchasing a ticket is tax deductible. We invite you to join Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer’s (MBFCC) Paint and Sip Charity Fundraiser for an afternoon of creativity and fun. One drink ticket will be provided. There will be fun items being raffled off, a silent auction, and door prizes. The proceeds from this event will provide pediatric cancer families with a Hospital Survival Wagon or Clinic Cart based on their needs. MBFCC needs your help to continue supporting these families. Join MBFCC in making a difference in these families lives while they carry their child through their cancer journey! We are delivering 10-plus wagons or carts a month in Northern California to Roseville and Oakland Kaiser, UC Davis, Sutter, UCSF, Stanford, and Oakland Children’s Hospital. Mama Bear Testimonial “We were blessed with a wagon from Mama Bears in our time of need. At the time we had spent months in the hospital. Because our daughter is always neutropenic during her treatment, we were afraid to use communal wagons for risk of infection. We struggled to carry bags full of clothes and blankets daily through the hospital. When we got our wagon it was a game changer. We can now comfortably bring our belongings up and down with ease. Not only that, it was full of things that made life here so much more comfortable. I had been sleeping in a chair for four months when I received our care wagon. One of the items was a memory foam mattress pad. Oh my gosh, I didn’t know how badly I (and my hips!) needed it. We also were able to watch the tv as a family with the sound bar instead of sharing the little remote attached to her bed. We were able to stream shows with Roku and connect to our home TV box to record our shows. They know exactly what is needed as necessities and what brings comfort in a time when comfort is sparse. We are so thankful for Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer and are blessed to have been welcomed into their community."
